A Conversation at the Lake of the Woods District HospitalPublished on May 02, 2020
Upon my return to Kenora-Rainy River to my primary residence, I was pleased to return with a supply of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), that will be distributed to communities in need across the riding, in particular those communities in Grand Council Treaty Three. There was also a shipment of 1000 swabs for testing at the hospital and their mobile testing centre. In this video, I had a chance to check-in with hospital CEO Ray Racette and Kenora District Services Board CAO Henry Wall. Also worth noting that Henry is a co-chair of the All Nations Health Partners - Ontario Health Team with Joe Barnes. There are a lot of people involved in keeping the northwest safe through these challenging times. Thanks to everyone in the region for the part that you are playing. We are certainly flattening the curve and reducing the threat of COVID-19 in our communities through the proactive action that we are taking as a community. Let's stay the course. Be safe. Thanks to Darian Loohuizen for your videography.
