Celebrate Local Food Week in Ontario

Published on June 03, 2020

Local food week is an opportunity to celebrate all the good things that are grown, harvested and made in Ontario.

During the COVID-19 pandemic our agri-food heroes, from the farmers and truckers, to food processing workers and grocery store clerks, have been hard at work keeping store shelves stocked and our families fed.

Now, more than ever, we must support the local farmers, the agri-food heroes and the communities that put food on our kitchen tables.

As we continue to safely and gradually reopen the province, everyone can show their Ontario Spirit and do their part by ordering the safe, high-quality food produced right here at home.

Ontario’s farmers, food processors, truck drivers, restauranteurs, grocery store workers and everyone who keeps the local food supply chain running is an agri-food hero.
