- A new $13 million investment to reinvigorate local tourism marketing
- Ontario Live — a new virtual hub designed to promote and support businesses in the tourism, sport, and creative sectors
Through a partnership between Destination Ontario and Destination Canada, a total of $13 million will be invested towards a marketing fund to bolster local tourism. This federal/provincial partnership will support tourism in local communities across Ontario by encouraging the development and delivery of locally driven marketing programs.
The Ontario government is also providing support for the tourism industry through Ontario Live, a new virtual hub that reconnects Ontario artists, tourism operators, attractions and businesses with online audiences from across the province and around the world. This initiative will continue to evolve and grow, connecting people with more made-in-Ontario offerings, while helping businesses with immediate and on-going revenue generation.
